Art Haus Pensacola is excited to announce that we are in the planning stages, and while our store has not yet opened, we are actively securing vendors to bring this unique vision to life. Once our group of talented artists and makers, and a coffee vendor is in place, we will move forward with securing a prime location and signing the lease. To ensure we lock in a desirable space, accepted vendors will be required to pay a deposit within 10 days to secure your space, which will be held in an account until the lease is finalized. The deposit will go towards the first months space fee. If the lease is not signed and the store opened within six months of kickoff, all deposits will be fully refunded. We look forward to creating a vibrant marketplace, coffee brew bar and classroom with our selected vendors!

Artisan Marketplace Application Guidelines

Welcome to Art House Pensacola! We invite talented artists who create unique fine art or handmade goods to apply for the opportunity to display their work in our artisan marketplace. As the sole owner and curator, I take great care in selecting artists with pieces that align with the Art House vision.

Please read the following guidelines carefully before applying:

Application Process:

1. Complete the Questionnaire: Fill out the application form below, providing all necessary information about yourself and your work.

2. Submit Portfolio: Attach high-quality images of your artwork or handmade goods. Make sure the images clearly represent the quality and uniqueness of your pieces.

3. Artist Statement: Provide a brief statement explaining your artistic vision, creative process, and what makes your work stand out.

4. Curation and Review: I will personally review your submission. If your work is a good fit for the the Art House, you’ll be contacted for next steps.

Selection Criteria:

• Artistic Quality: We are looking for professional-level artwork or handmade goods with high craftsmanship standards.

• Style and Fit: Your work should complement the gallery’s aesthetic and appeal to our target audience.

• Uniqueness: We prioritize artists whose work offers something distinctive and original.

• Marketability: Consideration is given to work that is likely to attract buyers and resonate with the local art scene.

Participation:

• Monthly Fee: Accepted artists will be required to pay a monthly fee to display their work in Art Haus. Fee amounts vary based on space allocation. Generally fees will range from $100 and upwards. 

• Shift Work Option: Artists may reduce their monthly fee by committing to work shifts in the marketplace assisting with sales and customer interaction. This is entirely optional.

• Commission fee is 15% on sales. This covers credit card fees and marketing.

Contract Terms:

• Artists accepted into the gallery will sign a contract for a set term (e.g., 3, 6, or 12 months).

• All decisions regarding display, rotation, and placement of artwork will be at the sole discretion of the Art Haus owner.

• Artists are responsible for keeping their display area well-stocked and attractive. 

• Artists should assess what is not selling and replace those items with other items.
